Dark wood, red velvet, candlelight and walls of gilded frames: the Private Dining of Chez van Rijn is a world of its own. The room is fully private, with a dedicated sound system and, if you wish, a private bar. Bring your own entertainment or a DJ and make it an evening that lingers. The door opens straight onto Rembrandtplein, so the evening never has to end.
From dinner to reception
At the long tables you dine with parties of up to 96 guests. For a reception, drinks or a product presentation there is room for 120. We build packages to measure:
- seated dinners of three or four courses
- shared dining menus
- walking dinners and buffets
- meetings with lunch
The kitchen cooks French, from apéro to Grand Finale. Drink packages range from a welcome drink and a wine selection to a fully serviced private bar.

Is the room really private?
Yes. The Private Dining is a closed room with its own entrance from the restaurant, its own bar and its own sound system. Nobody else dines there during your event.
Can we bring our own music or entertainment?
Yes. The room has a dedicated sound system; a DJ, a speaker or live music are welcome. Tell us what you have in mind and we arrange the technical side.
